Q:What is the max watertemp this model will produce, or the GCVT-50.Does it make sense to install a mixing valve to increase available hot water at say 120 degrees.
A:Maximum water temperature is about 160°F. You could install a mixing valve to lower the water temperature output.
A:You can't get something for nothing. By raising the water temp you will get more useable hot water at a lower temp for normal use, however, this extra usage is offset with some amount of cost to heat the water hotter than necessary. My guess is that it is a good idea only if it is temporary, such as when additional people are in the home. I don't believe it would be an economical long term solution to a hot water shortage.
Q:sre the repair parts interchangeable with other water heater parts, the pilot assembly
A:Part 9003542005 is the replacement pilot assembly for this water heater.
Q:Where is this water heater made (in what country)? Is it for a mobile home?
A:This unit is made in the United States, and it can be used in a mobile home.
