Comments about 10" x 10" Drywall Access Door:

I needed an access door for a fire place clean out located in my finished basement. I cut out opening in drywall, installed wood blocking around perimeter, fasten door frame to rock, and finished with mud and sanding, looks GREAT!

Love It

Comments about 6" x 6" Drywall Access Door:

Used it to get access to my main water shut-off in the basement. Had to hide the shut-off behind behind the drywall. Be sure the wall is flat. Had one corner that wouldn't fit flush. Used drywall screws to hold it down on the first coat. It took three coats, but it looks great, especially when the final coat of paint was put on.

Nearly Perfect!

Comments about 6" x 6" Drywall Access Door:

Finding a small enough access door for an electrical junction box is not an easy task. Fortunately this one is top of the line. Lightweight and easy to install, this was used as a cover for a wiring junction behind a Sheetrock ceiling. A little wallboard trimming and some joint compound and it blended right in. No-one's even noticed it yet. One feature it could use is a magnetic/push-open mechanism. Not having a screwdriver cam showing would pretty much make the cover invisible.

Still don't see item depth. The dimensions provided online do not show the DEPTH of the door - i.e. - how far the door frame protrudes into the wall cavity.

I believe these are 2” deep. I installed two of these in 2x4 framed drywall.
