Description for Baseboarders BC001-72

Use this Retrofitting Guide to verify that your existing baseboard heaters will fit the one-size-fits-most baseboard heater cover replacements.

NOTE: For Hydronic (hot water type) Baseboard Heaters. Baseboarders are not to be installed over electric baseboard heaters.

Warranty: Warranty covers against the development of any rust. Original purchaser only.

Features:

  • Made of 24 gauge perforate steel.
  • Features TWO separate layers of protection against rust: an electroplated galvanized coating over the carbon steel and an epoxy-based powder coat in semi-gloss white.
  • Designed to retrofit on to most existing baseboard heater covers.
  • Superior Airflow... Airflow is the critical factor in proper baseboard heating. We use a perforated steel screen that visually hides the originally installed heater cover while ensuring that the heating element receives proper airflow.
  • Safer around children than traditional baseboard covers... The dangers associated with hot finned tube heating elements are well known. Our one-piece design doesn't allow for little fingers or small flammable toys to be placed inside the heater via the top gap where the heat comes out.
  • Simple to Install... It just doesn't get any easier. Only the non-permanent components of the existing heater cover are discarded. The back cover that is mechanically fastened to the wall stays in place.
  • Baseboarders are made of steel and will get just as hot as the original covers.

Our old baseboard covers were dented and rusty. I tried painting them but they still looked awful. These covers are sturdy and attractive. You can install them in minutes, and they absolutely transform the look of the room. They can be cut with a hack saw to the exact length you need (and the rough edge you create by cutting will be covered by the end cap). They company ships immediately and responds to any concerns immediately as well.

The product is excellent. Install is extremely easy. Product arrived very quickly. The only recommendation I have is with the packaging. The items were taped together inside the box with a clear tape. Removal of the tape and adhesive was difficult. I didn't want to scrape the new cover, so I ended up using nail polish remover to strip the glue after an hour of rubbing it with soap and water. We plan to buy more for our home. They look beautiful!!

I needed it to redo my bathroom. even a supply house could not help. found this cover that FITS on the internet. My bathroom is finally done, and I love the look of the new baseboard heater. At least 5 of my friends asked me for the name and make of it. I was happy to comply.

You may use two smaller sections of basic baseboard cover and join them with the connecting coupler part CP004. For example you could joint a 3 ft section BC001-36 with a 4 foot section BC001-48 to reach 7 feet in total.

By installing Baseboarders using the WB001 wall brackets would mean you can determine the height of the covers. The bottom of the finned tube element should be located no less than 1" above the finished floor.
