Second floor radiators were difficult to bleed and heating was poor. After installation all problems are resolved. Gave a 4 instead of 5 because I don't know the life of the product at this time.

Like the brass body that will not corrode with age. We use this valve as a fill and pressure control valve for hydronic systems. It can be used solo or in combination with a backflow preventer.

So, you don't need a separate check valve.

Maybe I tightened it to much? Anyways, after hours of searching for the part on the web, I finally found the part number, and low and behold, PexSupply carries it! It is sku# V14609, and it is only $2.44 last check. It would be great if PexSupply put a "related parts" section on the FB-38 page, because it is really hard to find if you don't have the part number.
