Q:Can the clamping sleeve be pried open a bit to remove pex tubing and be reused with new tubing?
A:No, they should be replaced with new ones.
Q:Will this fitting work with PEX-Al-PEX? If not, which part should be used instead to connect Buderus panel radiators to PEX-Al-PEX?
A:Unfortunately Buderus does not offer a pex-al-pex compression fitting for use with the Radiators at this time.
Q:Does this type of fitting work on the Viega 1/2" pex supply line? If so, does it need the Viega press tool? Or does the screwing of the nut down on the fitting make the press tool un-needed? Thanks.
A:yes, no just wrenches.
Q:the sleeve that fits over the pex, does it get compressed as the nut(silver) is screwed on the radiator?
A:Yes, the sleeve is compressed by the taper in the nut to create a seal.
