Comments about Model 21, 12" x 36" Hydronic Panel Radiator:

As I said in my recomendation for the 12x71" model this is a great panel. The service and prompt delivery made this ordering over the Internet a pleasant experience. Initially the radiator was missing a small cosmetic cap on the valve and PEX promptly supplied that with no hassle.

Comibined this unit with a pump and an outside reset to get the best even heat comfort.

This combines the best of radiant and convection heating and the installation instructions are typically German in their precision and detail. Well designed for a DYI installation

PexSupply should not sell this unit without STRONGLY recommending the only fittings that will prevent leaks, i.e., the Buderus product!

                      Q:

I'm buying a 1937 home that currently has recessed steam radiators but the boiler is shot and needs to be replace. I will be switching over to hot water heating but I like that the radiators are recessed into the wall and do not take up any floor space. My question is: Can the wall mounted radiators be recessed into the wall? If not, can you recommend a product?

That can be done, however you will not get optimal convection and some areas may feel cooler than others.

In an open system, you will not need an oxygen barrier.

In a open system you can not use a cast iron rad, you will get rust in your tap water.
