Great Prices and fast delivery. Sharkbite is the way to go. I have used other quick connect fitting from other big box stores and have nothing but problems with them. This is the best way to purchase them!

If you have had solder drip on to your hands or face, shark bite fittings end that problem. If you have had leaks and had to start all over again from the beginning at the end of the day when you are exhausted, shark bite is the solution.I wish they were around twenty years ago.I will never use anything except shark bite again.

I'm not sure what more can be said which others have not already said about how easy these fittings are to use. However a couple of tricks I've learned are:

                                                  1) Remove the plastic pipe inserts (white plastic caps flopping around inside the fittings) and insert these into the pipe ends then insert the pipe into the fittings otherwise these can get in the way prevent the pipe from sliding into the fitting properly. When using these fittings with 'hard rigid pipe' like copper these can be removed then thrown away as they serve no purpose.

                                                  2) If you don't already have them, get yourself a set of the disconnect clips (without these it is almost impossible to remove the fittings, with these it is simple). You may think that you won't need to take a fitting apart but in one case I had a problem with a fitting leaking so I took it apart and noticed a deep scratch on the pipe which was providing a channel for water to leak - a quick fix which would have been difficult without the release clip.

The water would be drained from the piping, but as I have had to replace CPVC piping every year the lines may not be completely drained. Are these products rated for the lower temperatures?
