Luckily I pressure checked my assembly before installing. I had a small drip at 80psi. I found it to be a flaw in the casting around the neck of the 3/8" shoulder. Material is thin where they drilled out for the 3/4 sweat end. I bought 3 of these fitting and they all appear to be flawed.

Comments about 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2" CxCxF Tee:

These are helpful when used with pressure gauges but do not have enough depth for temperature gauges. of the 12 that I had 3 had flash from casting that had to be chiseled out and 2 had issues with threads. All were usable with extra work, but not a high quality part.

      A:

no it won't you would need a 3/4X3/4X1/2, but you would need to put a stump of pipe into the 1/2 or the well will bottom out in the Tee.
