Not worried about dented fittings

Over the past twelve months i have purchased copper fittings several times. They have always been shipped in original bags from the manufacturer and never dented or damaged.

Needed pipe dope

As with many fittings these days, standards have dropped. I had to use teflon tape plus teflon pipe dope to get these fittings to stop leaking. Not really PEX's fault.

yes, as long as you have a 1-1/2" copper female fitting on the other end. Note, this is a sweat fitting requiring soldering. If don't want to solder, you can buy a compression fitting that would work equally as well.

If the flange is not brass you would want to start with a brass nipple and then use an 1 1/4" x Female adapter. If the flange is brass then the answer is yes.

your 1 1/4" female end of the male adapter will accept 1 1/4" rigid tube.
Yes, it can be confusing. My 1/2" male adapter will accept 1/2" rigid
copper tube. However, when measured the OD is actually 5/8 inch and the
female end of the male adapter is also 5/8".
So in your case YES, the 1 1/4 male adapter will accept 1 1/4 rigid tube

This one does over the existing copper line so you can sweat the joint together. Then the NPT can be used for threaded pipes, faucets, etc. Make sure you lightly sand the inside of the adapter and the 1 1/4" pipe to insure a good solder joint.

This is a 1-1/4 copper to 1" male adapter, so yes it can be sweated onto a 1-1/4" copper line and has a 1" male threaded end. PexSupply should re-arrange the wording on the fittings they offer, so that the description follows the dimension, there by making it self explanatory! Enjoy.

It looks like it is in the picture. I would be surprised if the threads were any other than NPT. I think it would solder over the end of a 1/4" pipe and allow you to screw on a standard 3/8" female fitting. It is going to need some good pipe dope to keep it from leaking. Frank.

      Yes it is NPT!
To prevent leaks, solder copper end of adapter first (even if you have to use a copper stub and couple it later, or use a copper to copper union), wrap male threads with teflon tape three or four times, then coat with teflon paste before connecting threaded end. The idea is to avoid heating a threaded connection to insure against leaks! I use teflon tape with teflon paste on all my threaded connections (black pipe, shower arms, etc.)!

Based on the type of copper, K, L or M, only the ID changes.
The OD does not change and all copper types will fit inside this adapter.

The WP4-12-16 copper fitting is designed to fit over nominal 3/4" copper. Since 3/4" copper has a 7/8" OD, the fitting has an ID slightly larger than 7/8". IPS thread is interchangeable with NPT.

IPS (Iron Pipe Size) can be Straight or Tapered thread, but generally is considered Tapered unless otherwise stated.
NPT (National Pipe Tapered) is Tapered. So, yes, in this case 1" IPS is the same as 1" NPT.
FYI, NPSM is the designation for National Pipe Standard Mechanical which is a Straight (non-tapered) thread.

Plumbing sizes are in listed in “ID” and refrigeration sizes are listed in
“OD”, the ¾” plumbing size will be 7/8” OD.
The word street in plumbing means that the ¾” size will be the same as the
pipe OD such as a street ell or street 45.
The IPS means Iron Pipe Size and is the same as NPT or National Pipe Thread.

Right: 3/4" copper is 3/4" on the inside, 7/8" on the outside (which means
that the copper sweat end of this adapter is 1" in diameter on the
outside, since it's a fitting). IPS, NPT, and MIP are all equivalent
here, since all modern fittings use NPT for iron pipe size equivalents.

I already replied about the thread question...but I think you may be mistaken about the copper sweat end of this fitting.  In my experience if a fitting like this is intended to fit into another fitting (meaning that it measures the same diameter as the copper pipe itself...7/8") then it is referred to 3/4" male fitting x male adaptor...the "male adaptor refers to the threaded end.  The one shown below would  get a copper pipe soldered into it (or the street end of a street 90 for example)...does that make sense?

      IPS stands for Iron Pipe
Size. While NPT refers to National Pipe Thread.
      NPT is for tapered
thread used on pipes. IPS is a standard used by some, however now used mainly
by makers of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) pipe.
IPS is an old sizing measure. I can go on and on about this subjct, however I think you get the idea.
