I've always found that fitting 45 degree elbows to copper tubing is a little more difficult than it is to insert the tubing into other fittings of the same size. Maybe something to do with the particular casting process for a 45. Good removal of any tube ridge is essential. Otherwise, no complaint. Very good quality, very good price.

Q:hey I am looking for a cheaper version of the marine elbow comming off the exhaust manifolds on my boat, what is the wall thickness of the 3 inch 45 copper elbow? it would get hot but it would have water running through it.
A:The wall thickness of that elbow is .090".
