Description for DiversiTech CP-22T

Includes 20 ft of 3/8" tubing

This condensate pump is suitable for use with condensate from high efficiency condensing furnaces and boilers which produce acidic condensate. 22' of lift compared to the typical 20'. Integrating the CP-22 into your system is easy. 1/4" inch quick connect terminals provide easy connection to the built in overflow switch. 2 terminals are provided allowing flexibility to connect air-handler shut-down.

Features

  • Metal Hang Tabs
Shatterproof stainless steel hang tabs have hole-and-slot design for easy mounting. Tabs are located on convenient 8" centers.
  • Indicator Lights
Red, yellow, and green indicator lights show the pump status. Green for power applied, yellow for pump running, and red for high level alarm.
  • A Float That Floats
A float manufactured from foamed polyethylene is a simple, chemical and environmentally resistant, long lasting float. Rather than mold a trapped air float from a material that sinks, or use an expanded polystyrene (EPS) float, the DiversiTech float simply floats.
  • Four Inlet Holes
Four inlets versus two or three on other pumps provide the greatest installation versatility. Inlet holes have a reinforced wall for increased durability.
  • Rubber Feet
Rubber feet dampen vibration which reduces noise.
  • Vibration Isolation
An elastomeric motor mounting gasket dampens vibration.
  • Check Valve
Removable check valve for easy cleaning.

Comments about Condensate Pump, 120V with 20' 3/8" Tube:

I use this condensate pump for the water that comes from my high efficiency gas furnace to pump it out at a higher level.

I had purchased a pump from Lowe's a couple years ago that was very noisy and really startled a heating company technician. That's when I decided to try another. This pump is great; there will always be some noise--it's a PUMP. It is so much quieter than the previous one I had. I really appreciated having the vinyl tubing included and the connector wire accessory for the safety shut-off as an option. The status lights are a bonus.

All previous pumps had 4 screws to remove the bottom container for periodic cleaning--yes, periodic cleaning is a great idea to eliminate slime and eventually possible mold. This one has a push out the sides of the plastic container, which I don't like as much because I was concerned about breaking it. I simply took care when doing that. Before installing, be sure to check that the check valve is securely tightened (mine was not) to prevent water leakage. Just remember--it's plastic and don't OVER-tighten!

Fits nicely in the small space I have next to the Furnace. With the 4 inlets, it let me orientate the pump just the way I wanted. The pump included the hose AND the safety overflow shutdown wiring. The status indicators are easy to see and monitor. The pump is quiet and efficient. I am VERY happy with this pump, and would highly recommend it to all!

I ordered the pump to use with a new heat pump based hot water heater to pump the condensation to a remote drain. The product has worked fine. The issue I have is that I ordered it based on the information posted on the Pex Supply website which listed a anti-slime pill dispenser and a three (3) terminal output safety switch interconnect. The product I received did not have the pill dispenser and only a two (2) terminal output safety switch interconnect. The features listed on the website were also printed/shown on the product's packaging but the product in the box did not have the features listed on the website or as printed on the packaging.
