Features and Benefits
  • Color Packaging
Bright, colorful, easy to read packaging removes confusion about motors. The distributor can easily identify the stock of motors on the shelf. The application, voltage, and horsepower of a motor are visible at a glance.
  • Capacitor Size
The appropriate size 370 VAC run capacitor is noted on every motor carton.
  • Innovative Packaging
A unique styrofoam cradle inside the motor carton supports and protects the motor, shaft, and mounting bolts during shipment. (See Image #2)
  • Larger Diagram
An extra large wiring diagram is supplied on the motor itself, on the motor carton, and also in the installation and safety instruction sheet. This large wiring diagram makes it very easy to read.
  • Cross Reference
For your convenience, Wagner provides a complete manufacturer cross-reference on the side of every motor carton.
  • Large Label
Informative product label contains the motor model number in large type. The UPC code is also printed on every motor label.
  • Extended Bolts
Extended mounting bolts provide for easier installation in cramped spaces. With the longer bolts, the installer is able to more easily start the threaded mounting nut.
  • Extended Wires
Wagner motor wires are thirty inches long. The added length makes it easier for the contractor to install the new motor.
  • Wire Stripping
Partial stripping leaves the insulation on the motor connection wire. This protects the stranded copper wire and prevents damage to individual strands.
  • Insulated Disconnects
Run capacitor connections are insulated for increased safety. Flag disconnects on condenser fan motors and inline disconnects on direct drive furnace blower motors are provided.

A great choice for Condenser Fan

Comments about 1/4 HP, 208-230 VAC Condenser Fan Motor:

This fan replaced 5KCP39FGS071S motor used in a carrier heat pump. Works great and no problems so far.(It's been a month since I replaced it ). Couple of things. I had to cut some screws on the fan side using a metal cutter to prevent it hitting the fan leaf. wires coming out of the fan was short I had to extend one of them. This may be specific to my unit. Overall very satisfied. This is a quality product and I would recommend it.

Comments about 1/4 HP, 208-230 VAC Condenser Fan Motor:

This was an exact replacement for the motor in my old Trane XE 1000. It's working perfectly after several months. Wiring diagram is very clear and wire colors matched the old motor making replacement very easy for me - an a/c repair novice. Lowest price on the Web I found. You can google to find the wiring diagram on other sites.

Detail connection diagram to capacitor and contactor relay.

Sorry - not exactly sure what the question is, but I'll try. I bought this
motor from PexSupply about 2 years ago and the included wiring diagram was
exactly what I needed. The wire colors exactly matched what was in my
Trane. I've never worked on a compressor before - so it had to be simple
and it was. The included wires were plenty long. The shaft was a bit
longer than the one it replaced, but wasn't a problem. The mounting bolts
where a bit longer as well, but workable. I believe I was able to find a
wiring diagram online on another website, but PexSupply had the best price.
Two years later - it's working fine and saved hundreds of dollars.
      Good luck.

There are 4 wires plus a reversing plug. The wires are black and white to 220v power on the contactor, and brown and brown-with-white-stripe to the capacitor. The reversing plug colors are normally yellow and orange but can vary. Capacitor wires have plugs on the ends, power leads do not. I usually add crimp-on plugs since the contactor may only have screws for the compressor leads.
