  • EX95 Flow Controlled Electric Tankless Water Heater With Pipe Compression Fittings On Bottom Of Unit

    Q:

can this item serve a bathroom shower

      A:

      It can but ..
There are a lot of factors for determining if this is the right fit for your
      needs.
These insta hot units work off of temperature rise and flow so whatever your
incoming water temp is plus the amount of flow is what you get.
For example if your incoming cold water temp is 68 deg F and a shower head
uses 2.5 gal per minute you might want to install one of those water saving
shower heads because all the way on hot and full blast will be + 25 deg F
total of 93 deg F without one.
If you limit the flow to 1 gal per minute you will get + 60 deg F out of it
total of 128 deg F on full hot then you can adjust hot and cold to whatever
      you like.
It's a little tricky to get used to because there is a minimum flow or the
insta hot shuts off but I think it is a good purchase for instant hot water
where there is no hot water just work a little diferently.

  • EX95 Flow Controlled Electric Tankless Water Heater With Pipe Compression Fittings On Bottom Of Unit

    Q:

Can the water temp be turned down on a model EX95?

      A:

There is no adjustment on the unit. The temp. Is controlled by the water flow.
The manufacturer suggests a ball valve on the outlet side to control the flow.
      The unit works great!

      A:

The temperature can only be controlled by the water flow rate, the slower the water runs through the hotter the water, the faster the cooler.
