Couldn't find source of an unidentified odor emanating from basement ejector pump pit. Searched to no avail. Conditions for this odor to generate required extreme humidity for a prolonged period of time (at least a week or more). This has been driving me crazy for almost two years. Finally put this device in line with the vent stack and voila odor eliminated. When conditions present themselves I flip on the switch and problem solved.

I chose this product as I thought it would be powerful enough for me 6' X 11' remodeled bathroom, and quiet. I installed it approximately 3' from the ceiling, and it is quiet. However, it's not powerful enough to remove steam from the bathroom while the hot shower's running; there's a lot of condensation all over the bathroom walls and mirrors. The fan is pretty effective once the shower's off- the mirrors clear up, but the walls stay pretty wet. Overall, I should have gone with a stronger fan-- but, now I"m stuck with this more lackluster product.

We use it as our radon mitigation fan. The last one, of the same model, lasted almost 20 years. It was still working but started to have a louder noise so we decided to replace it.

I hooked the fan up to an existing exhaust fan housing in an average size bathroom. It is mounted in the attic. It was easy to install, works very well and the noise it creates is 1/4 of the previous fan's when it was new. Going forward, I plan to add some washable filter material to the old fan housing to keep dust and hair spray from clogging things up. I am very happy with the purchase and do recommend it.

Does exactly what it says it does. Easy install and very quiet (I went from 68db to 58db SPL!). I use these to replace the junky in-ceiling fan units that came with my home. Note that these fans support 4" and 5" flex ducting, so if you have 3" existing ducting you'll need to get 3-4" reducers or replace all of your 3" with 4", etc. Also be sure you buy the proper CFM for your application.

This fan works perfect as a radon fan which it is mostly advertised for but it also works very well to ventilate crawl spaces with high humidity and stangnate air. It is quiet, costs about nothing to run and can be installed outside in weather. Great product.

We installed the fan for radon mitigation in the basement. My concern was going to be the noise, so I was going to put it on a dimmer switch so that I could adjust the speed of the fan. We first hooked it up without the dimmer and found that it was so quite that it could not be heard upstairs. Needless to say, we did not have to use the dimmer switch.
