I purchased this fan to replace the exact model that has served me well for 16 years. The motor on my old fan was starting to make noise like a bearing was starting to go. Not bad considering they are rated for 7-10 years. These fans are made in the USA with the motor made in Germany. I was very pleased to see the new fan still uses the German made motor. I am glad it wasn't [*] Changing out the fan was a simple matter of loosening the hose clamps on the pipe couplers and swapping the power cord from the old unit to the new. As expected, this is a very quiet running fan. Pex Supply was very quick shipping the fan and it was well packaged by the manufacturer.

This fan is being used to transfer heat from one side of the house to the other. It's quiet yet powerful to do what I need it to. I would definitely recommend this fan!

This unit was easy to install on our own as a replacement for one that was no longer working. We have this unit on our Radon system in our home and the motor runs continuously; the last motor just like this one lasted 10 years.

Solid, quiet, well-built fan, but has 3-7/8 inch inlet and outlet, which does not fit any normal pipe or connectors. As such, it was very difficult to connect to 4-inch PVC pipe.

The input/output ended up being slightly smaller than the failed fan (4" compared to 4 1/2" ) but the connecting boots tightened up to the 4" and the fan works great. Install time less than 30 minutes.
