Satisfied for years...

Comments about Replacement Filter Cartridge:

I have been using this style of oil filter for years with great results. I tried the felt style but I would have problems with the wire mesh core being too tall or not fitting properly. These filters just drop in and they come with a large rubber gasket for the filter canister and two fiber washers for the main stem and small bleeder screw. I try to change the filter once a year but sometimes put it off for two years and I have never had a problem with clogs. My tanks are also in the basement and I buy quality fuel oil which may also contribute to not having problems with clogging. I am very pleased with these filters
