Comments about JPF-7 Shallow Well Basic Line Cast Iron Jet Pump (230V, 2 HP):

my pump is in basement. my old half horse power pump took 20 to 30 minutes to pressurize my tanks. My new pump does everything in less then 5 minutes. So I use a quarter of the power. When the water gets down to the bottom of the pressure range I don't even notice it. Out side water pressure is great now that I don't use the pressure washer as much. More horse power and a 50 to 70 psi switch makes my water system better than city water system. For about the same amount of money you can get 4 times the pumping power of a half horse pump.
