This is the second house in which I have installed a Grundfos pressure pump. I live in a rural area and have a well and a large water storage tank in the basement. I needed a pressure pump to increase the flow of water to a reasonable level. The Grundfos pumps have proved to be very dependable and quiet. Well worth the money. Other websites charge much more for the same model.

This is our 2nd pump-our 1st one died after approx 4 years

we have a cabin that requires the pump to push water approx 20 ft straight up (cabin is on a hill). while the pump does its job just fine (it kicks on every time you turn the water on, flush the toilet, etc), i am not sure about the life of the pump. The cost of this unit can range from $500-$800, depending on where u buy it from. At that price, most businesses selling this product consider it a "throw-away" item. However, for a home owner, this can be rather pricey to replace every 3-4 years. And not being a plumber and not knowing of another more reliable pump out there, i went with this product again. Like i said, works fine and does the job.

I actually use this as my well pump for my house. Its a very cheap and great way to give yourself lots of water pressure without spending $3500 on a pressure tank and pump. This is my 2nd Grundfos, the last one I had lasted 8 years, I will be buying another one in another 8 years too. I think it has the best price per gallon of water then any other pump I've found. Great value, great water pressure!!

I use this pump for my day to day watering needs at my mountain residence. This pump is the most bullet proof unit I have every used. I recommend this pump to any one who needs a reliable, maintenance free, trouble free unit. I just purchased a second one for my home residence to switch over too, when our community well power is lost and run my back up 1200 gallon reserve tank system. The pump I have on the mountain has been in use for over eight years and during that time it has never failed me and is still going strong.

I installed this unit 2.5 years ago,it worked great but not for long. I have used this unit as a booster pump for lower then wanted city water pressure of 48 psi. I paid 900.00 and some change for this unit thinking it would outlast the cheaper models. I am disappointed in its quality. I would recommend talking to some end users and find a unit that will last longer then 2.5 years. I did notice there were some units for 450+ on the net so your looking at a cost of 25-30 dollars a month on the average to use plus electricity to increase your water pressure.

We have pretty low pressure City water at our home and had the older version of this pump installed 9 years ago to give us a much needed pressure boost. We purchased this new pump to replace it when it stopped working. We hired a plumber to remove the old one and replace it with this one, as the old one was installed with soldered copper pipe. The new one is much quieter, we don't hear it kick on like we did the old one, and it starts up pretty much as soon as we open a faucet or flush. We had to wait for the old one to kick in before we got a much needed pressure boost. We don't even notice the new one's running except we always have good water pressure. Perfect so far.

This item is intended to be a back up pump in the event that the current pump breaks down. We live in a rural area and having this back up ready to go is literally a life saver.

I replaced a similar Grundfos pipe with a similar newer pump. SO far it works great. My first pump lasted 4 years, which in my opion is pretty bad. Grunfos customer service is horrible. PexSupply customer service was very good and I received my pump in two days.

Received this boosting pump from PexSupply very quickly for a reasonable price.
Pump worked great but had a very small leak at the compression tank end. After draining, pieces of white plastic were drainded out of the pump.
Called Grundsfos and well as PexSupply and a relacement is en-route.
Great product, but probably handle roughly during shipment.
                                                              great pressure, very quiet.

Due to oxygen, pumps that are used with potable water must be made out of non-ferrous metals such as bronze or stainless steel. Otherwise, rusting will take place. In closed-loop heating systems that continually cycle the same water, the oxygen initially present in the water chemically reacts with ferrous equipment to form iron oxide. Once this takes place, all corrosion stops.
