    • 24" x 24" White Sidewall/Ceiling Return Air Filter Grille

      Q:

When installing this 24x24 grille, should the fins be angled upward or downward. Does it make a difference? If it makes a difference, why up or down? Secondly, how does the 1" filter get replaced in this model? I don't see hinges or a way to open it other than removing the entire grille. Do you carry hinged wall return air filter grilles for either 1" or 4" deep filters? Thank you!

        A:

According to the manufacturer, the installation orientation does not make much of a difference beyond the appearance of the product. There are some small advantages to directing the air in the path of flow in the duct if velocities are high, but that usually isn't necessary. This model does include concealed hinges to change the filter.

    • 20" x 25" White Sidewall/Ceiling Return Air Filter Grille

      Q:

Is this the outsdie demensions of the grill. I am trying to cover a 19 x 24 cutout in a door. I assume the width is 20 inches and the height is 25 inches and it does not use a filter. Any other suggestions would be appreiated!

      thanks
