R-D really works

By Paul

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

I have a very old sewer system that is prone to root invasion from nearby trees. I used to have to have Roto-Rooter come out every couple of years to clear the system out because it would backup. I have been using R-D for about 10 years three times a year and have never had a sewer backup since. This stuff really works!

R-D root destroyer

By Tani

from Vista, CA

Verified Buyer

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

I treat my drain line with R-D every six months because I have a tree near the line whose roots have entered the line in the past. I have had the roots cut out by a professional plumber, and now use R-D on schedule. I have not had any more root problems since I had the roots removed and started using R-D. The cost of the R-D is well worth not having to pay a rooter service to clean out the line.

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

Used to need a plumber to clean out our pipes yearly. Now, I use this product twice a year. Easy to use. Put in the clean-outs before going to bed. I was glad to be able to order a case of it so that it will be on hand six months from now when it will be time to use again. No problems with pipes since we started to use it.

Comments about 2lb. R-D (root destroyer):

Love this product. Since I have a back yard completely surrounded by lilacs, I use this product to keep the roots at bay. It works great and have been using it for years. It does not kill the vegetation on the surface ground.

Root Destroyer is poured into one of the traps on your waste system where the large cupric sulfate crystals slowly dissolve over time.

how quickly does it work on very slow drains

The manufacturer recommends that you apply the product at times of low line usage so it has time to travel from the drain to the roots.

I used the entire 2 pounds for treatment. And I'll use another 2 pounds in six months. Doesn't pay to skimp. ****@***.***

      A:

Read the package insert. It says to use the whole 2 lb. every 6 months. I
put the R-D in my sewer cleanout and follow it with a the same 2-lb
container full of water. I do this on a weekend when I know I won't be home,
so showers and toilet flushing won't wash it away.

A 2 pound container is used once, poured slowly at intervals in the toiliet, but only have to do this twice a year. It kept mine open and lilac branches cleared for a long, long time.
