I'm a bit confuse about the difference between the TH115-AF-120S
    and the TH115-A-120S

Is the AF just the A with the remote temp sensor included?
The instructions for the A say that it can be set for A, F, or AF mode.

If the only difference is the sensor, then why is the AF so much more expensive than the A? Please don't guess if you don't know... I don't want to get the wrong item. Thanks!

    • A:

The A and AF thermostats are identical in every way except the AF includes the remote sensor (thermistor).

If you buy the A or AF you can still use the switch settings to put it into A/AF/F modes. The only difference between F and AF modes is whether or not an external sensor has been connected. The switch settings are the same and it's AF mode with a sensor and A without. The other mode setting is for F mode only and it ignores ambient temperature even though it will still display it.

the A works for Air temp alone, the AF can control works with both air and floor temp.
