Inexpensive, easy to install and works.

Comments about 7 Day Programmable Hydronic Heating Thermostat:

I wanted to replace a few 30 year old thermostat's on my house with a digital thermostat, but didn't want to rewire or hire anybody.

This took me about 30-45 minutes to install the first one and 10-15 minutes to install the other two. I had never installed a thermostat before. The instructions were adequate. It works very well with the water heater.

I have had it about 3 months and what I have saved on my heating bill has already paid for one of the 3 thermostats I installed. The house is in Alaska and it gets cold and heating is very expensive.

Decent hot water heat thermostat

Comments about 7 Day Programmable Hydronic Heating Thermostat:

There seem to be few choices to provide programmable thermostats for hot water heating systems. This is for cases where A/C is separate, so there are no fans to control, no cooling setting, etc. Most of what there is for heat only situations is not programmable. This thermostat seems to fit the bill, was compatible with the baseboard hot water heating system I had, and so far appears to work fine.

I have installed a dozen of these over the years. I have two homes that use them and they do the job well without being overly complicated and costly.

              Works Great

Comments about 7 Day Programmable Hydronic Heating Thermostat:

Worked on my old, 120-volt, obsolete, gas-fired, hydronic heating system. A little hard to set up. Be very careful not to damage the unit if connecting to old heavy Romex wires, it is resigned for lighter more flexible wiring.

What are the external dimensions of the TH141HC-28-B, and is it compatible with my forced air furnace/air conditioning?

                  A:

The thermostat is 4.9 x 3.8 x 1 in. It would be compatible with any single stage heating/single stage cooling forced air system.
