VisionPRO IAQ control
Every homeowner is looking for increased comfort and energy efficiency, and the Honeywell TrueDRY DH150 offers both. Perfect for larger homes, TrueDRY DH150 efficiently removes up to 150 pints of moisture from the air each day. In addition to dehumidification, TrueDRY DH150 also features an integrated
ventilation control that introduces fresh, filtered air into the homes as stale excess moisture is removed.
TrueDRY dehumidification systems can be ducted to dehumidify the whole home, or placed as a stand-alone unit to dehumidify specific areas, such as an attic, basement or crawl space. The TrueDRY DH150 dehumidifier utilizes refrigeration and internal air circulation to cool the incoming air stream below its dew point. This cooled and drier air is used to pre-cool the incoming air stream resulting in a significant increase in overall efficiency. After helping to cool the incoming air, the processed air is reheated by passing through the condenser coil. The heat removed by the evaporator coil is returned to the air stream, resulting in an overall temperature increase to the processed air. The TrueDRY DH150 is controlled by a variety of 24 volt remote wired controls.

Comments about TrueDRY DH150 Whole House Dehumidifier with VisionPRO IAQ Control:
I installed this unit as a whole house dehumidifier in my basement, tying it into the existing furnace duct work. My home is 3450 sq ft total for the basement and main floor. I used to have two portable units that worked adequately, but were annoyingly noisy. This one works great and is MUCH more quiet than the portables. When in operation, it runs the furnace fan to circulate the air throughout the house, and you can't even hear the compressor running. The only odd things, and they are really nothing at all, are that the exit duct is a flat oval, and you have to "squish" a flexible duct to fit over it. The other is I haven't figured out a way to automatically turn off the dehumidifier during the night. As quiet as it is, I still prefer silence while I'm sleeping. I may try a timer on the power plug, but at this point I don't know if a common household outlet timer is rated to handle the amperage draw of the dehumidifier. I can, however, simply turn it off using the automatic thermostat, but I have to remember to turn it back on in the morning. Other than those, it's a fantanstic investment, in my opinion. The automatic thermostat that comes with it is easy to program and very intuitive. The unit is well built and seems of high quality. Like I said, I 100% recommend it.
