Filter works great

By Ira

Comments about 16" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

This is the second set of filters we have received from Supplyhouse. I love the way they come in a VERY large box that I can use until I pull another filter (every six months). Filters work fine and do their job well, looking nasty after six months.

Comments about 20" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

The air filter is fine and fits the furnace as it should. What might be more important is the quick service from the company. Packaging was fine and the filters (2) arrived in great shape. Thanks supply house!!!

Merv 13 is why I always replace with this filter. A little pricier but worth it. Still cheaper than anywhere else even with shipping.

Comments about 20" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

exact make model & manufacturer of A/C filter, not a substitute. This was the best price on the web ~25% savings. A tad less with shipping but still far better than the competition. allows me to afford using 2 per year rather than 1 & keeps the inside air cleaner as a result.

Comments about 20" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

These filters fit perfect, and it takes less than a minute to install. It's so nice to do it yourself, instead of taking a day off from work for the installer's "service" visit ($$$). I've moved by business to Supply House, because they've helped me out with great customer service and saving $.

Quality Filter

Comments about 16" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

Good price on a great filter. Glad I installed a central filter a couple of years ago. So much easier than having a filter at each return register. And, using this particular filter is a benefit. Very fine filtration, lots of surface area for long life. I change every 4 months. Highly recommend.

Genuine Honeywell Brand Filter

By CottyGee

from Phoenix, AZ

Comments about 20" x 25" Charged Media Air Filter:

These are the real Honeywell brand filters, not generic knockoffs sold by some as a "replacement" media filter. When you get the generic filters, these unscrupulous dealers will tell you that their description means it's designed to "replace" the Honeywell branded filter.

No games here - just the original equipment filter, delivered as promised at a fair price.

  • 20" x 20" Charged Media Air Filter

    Q:

What is the difference between a "Charged Media Air Filter" and a "Media Air Filter" by Honeywell (20x20)? Will one put more of a strain on my air handler over another?
Asked on 5/24/2012 by BleieRicks from Macungie, PA

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

A charged media filter has an electrostatic charge applied to it at the factory. This charge does help with air filtration. According to the manufacturer, pressure drop or restricted air flow across any filter is what can impact the HVAC system. An electrostatic charge by itself should not reduce or impact air flow.

      A:

Upon researching the media filters, I found out a big difference is the SERR
rating. The Charged is a better SERR rating. The one I purchased is a SEER
      13. Upon researching the question found the following:
Whole House Air Cleaners mount between a furnace and the return air duct to
capture airborne particles such as dust, pollen, bacteria, dander, spores,
etc. Their performance is measured in terms of efficiency at trapping
micron-sized particles. Removing a higher percentage of contaminants from
the air may reduce the incidence of associated illnesses and allergy and
      asthma symptoms.
GoodMedia air filters are the basic models, capable of capturing particles
down to 1.0 micron size. Includes Honeywell F100 series: 16

    Q:

How thick is 20" x 25" Charged Media Filter? Can I use this filter in place for FC100A1037?
    Asked on 5/5/2012 by Homeowner_diy

      A:

I called alot places, it turns out that Honeywell stopped making the MERV13 for FC100A1037 filter and replaced it with the FC200E1037, which is also MERV13. If you are purchasing the FC200E1037, it should be exactly the same as the FC100A1037 MERV13. I have noticed the dimensions and measurements to be the same.
