Description for Honeywell T775A2009

The T775 electronic remote temperature controllers are the next generation of commercial and agricultural controls capable of remote sensing of temperature and providing switched and/or proportional outputs to various types of loads.

Features

  • Save time on installations with the easy-to-use graphical Interface, large display, and the intuitive programming.
  • Use the time clock scheduler or digital input to control the setback and disable output options to help save energy
  • Protect equipment from freezing or overheating on models with the modulating high or low limit control option
  • Get pinpoint control on modulating outputs by setting the integral and derivative times (PI or PID)
  • Configure models with reset in a few easy steps
  • Control floating actuators with floating outputs on select models
  • Eliminate the need for a separate time delay device and protect equipment with the minimum off time option
  • Sensor 5002159-001 included with non-NEMA 4X models
  • Sensor T775-SENS-WR included with NEMA-4X models

Versatile Thermostat

Comments about Electronic Temperature Controller with 1 Temperature Input, 1 SPDT Relay, 1 Sensor Included:

I have it hooked to my solar panel and two pumps. Works perfectly! With temps above 160 I needed a thermostat that had a remote sensor and a wide temp range. This is the one! My only regret is that I should have purchase a model that can handle additional sensors. The next model up adds a nice differential temp setting.

    Q:

outdoor infared heater 8000 watts. can it handle this?

      A:

It can handle anything, but not directly. This is only a pilot device, made
to be connected into a control circuit. If your usage device doesn't have a
control circuit where a thermostat could be connected, you would then need
to add a contactor. Without more detailed information on the heater that you
are trying to control, that's all that I can tell you.

    Q:

    Good Day,

    I have two (2) questions:

    1. Can the unit display the temperature in °C and °F?
    2. How long is the wire for the probe that is supplied with the unit?

    Thanks,

      A:

      Hi:
      1) Yes, there is a menu setting that changes the units from Fahrenheit
      to Centigrade.
      2) The sensor supplied with the unit only has a very short piece of
wire attached. You can however extend it with low voltage cable, out to
      1000’ or so.
