Comments about 1" NPT Connection Zone Valve (120v):

If your heating system has water hammer when zones kick on and off, this valve eliminates water hammer, period. I tried two other brands of valves before installing this Honeywell valve. I will not use another brand of valve for zone control ever again. And, as usual, PEX Supply delivers the goods on time and at a great price.

Great Valve, Exactly what I needed

Comments about 1" NPT Connection Zone Valve (120v):

My hydronic heating system is run by multiple circulators and found that each one caused flow in the others. Putting a zone valve on each loop gave perfect control while giving each loop the maximum heat flow. These valves are great.

Works as it should. My application was for my greenhouse. I hooked it directly to my 110v thermostat.

Does this valve draw power constantly while energized or only while changing states?

That valve will draw power while energized, and the valve is open. A spring will close the valve when de-energized. There is not much wattage or power use.
