                  V8043E1012 has a SPST auxiliary end switch. V8043A1029 does not have an end switch.

                Is it possible to power this device from a, say, 10 watt PV panel so that this valve would be open whenever enough sunlight exists. If a 10 watt panel would be too small, would a larger PV panel do what I am asking here?

                  A V8043A1029 needs 24vac, 50/60hz and draw of 7.7va. You must provide this at all times or you will burn out the motor.
