I used this item to bridge my 1/2" tube and 3/8" pipe. The price is the cheapest I can find. The quality is good and easy to install.

So far, no problem with it.

The simple fittings that I needed for my faucet project weren't immediately available from our local hardware store. ("We can get those for you on our next truck,") I ordered them from you, saved money, and got them faster. Thank you!!!

    Q:

is this suitable for hose-in-hose applications? (can the hose going into the compression end go all the way through?)

      A:

No. It will not work. The hole that passes through the main body is
smaller in diameter than the hole on the compression end where your
      tubing/hose enters.

    • VERIFIED BUYER

      A:

yes the hose CAN go through all the way but this particular fitting has NPT threads on one end which would need to be threaded into piping...if you want hose by hose connection you would want to go with a compression by compression fitting and NOT a compression by NPT
