This multi-split Art Cool package includes:
9,000 BTU Art Cool Ductless Multi-Split Air Cond/Heat Pump - Indoor Unit (Compatible w/ Wired Wall Thermostat)
We recommend the installation of all LG Ductless Split Systems to be done by a licensed, trained & qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool.
Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the units contact us or the manufacturer. LG cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician. We have a full technical support team available to help you throughout the installation process should the need arise.
Neither we or LG Electronics U.S.A. can be held liable for improper installation and operation of any LG air conditioning product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored.
Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment the manufacturers' parts warranty).

Q:How many square feet does each unit cover?
A:It depends on the building. You may want to try our Mini-Split Calculator (see link below) for more specific recommendations.
Q:What is the SEER?
A:This is a 16 SEER package.
Q:The picture isn't clear. Do the units in the room surface mount on the wall or ceiling or are they recessed. What is the final thickness after mounting? Is it ok to run the line set in a crawl space and up a wall into the attic?
A:The indoor units must be mounted onto the surface of the wall. They are 6 1/2" thick. You can run the line-set as you described - just make sure it is insulated (all the ones we sell come pre-insulated). Most people mount these units near the top of the wall. You would need to use a ceiling cassette ( http://www.pexsupply.com/LG-LMCN125HV-12000-BTU-Flex-Multi-Split-Ceiling-Cassette-Air-Cond-Heat-Pump-15154000-p ) for a recessed mount.
Q:Can this be zoned in three different bedrooms sepearatly with three programable thermostats? If one thermostat called for heat and one called for cooling it dosen't seem both rooms would be accomodated so what would be the default this case?
A:These units can either be programmed with the included remote or with an LG thermostat. All units need to be in the same mode to operate correctly. If you have any zone with a different type of call than another, you will get a CH07 error code-mode error. Therefore the remotes should not be set to auto, but either all to heat or all to cool.
