Good Little Pump

Comments about 5-ASP-LL 1/6 HP, 1200 GPH - Submersible Utility Pump w/ Piggyback Diaphragm Switch & 18 ft. Power Cord:

Having dug a sump basin in my basement to handle the slow leak, this pump was the perfect solution.

Turns out it is hard to find a low flow sump pump. This 1/6 HP unit, with the ability to discharge the outflow through a garden hose presented a much simpler option than the commonly available 1/3 HP Pumps which require 1.5 inch pvc pipe for the outflow (hassle).

Tweaking the setup so the diaphram swith wasn't continuously cycling was a bit of a trick. I simply needed to install a brick under the pump and drill more holes in my 5 gal bucket (drain basin).

Basement is perfectly dry now.
