Comments about Digital Programmable Line Voltage Thermostat:

Installing in comercial use unit heaters and base board heaters. Pros: Stat runs on battery, so it can be used on single leg such as 120 with out having to run a common wire, or on dual leg such as 208 and it will disconnect both legs. Cons: Does not adjust for daylight savings.

    Q:

    thermostat dosen't heat to preset temp...I thought it was broken, so I bought a new one and it still won't go to preset heat...is there something wrong with the heater?

    I'll program it for 72 degrees and the highest it will go is 62 degrees

      Assuming that the thermostat is wired correctly, it does seem that there's a problem elsewhere in the system.

      A:

      This thermostat is basically an electrical switch that controlled by the temperature, when it's colder then the setting the switch is ON, and when it's warmer then the setting the switch is OFF.
      It's easy to check the thermostat with a volt meter. But make sure your heating system is capable to heat your space properly.
