Mr. Pex brand is easier to work with than NIBCO brand which
I purchased from a local plumbing supply both are oxygen barrier. The Mr. pex bends and uncoils much easier.
The Price of 1000 feet was less than 300 feet at the local plumbing supply, which is located less than 5 miles from supply houses warehouse.
              Local Pick up is great!

This was my first time using PEX so I was a little skeptical. To my surprise it was quite easy to work with. I do recommend having a helper in coil the roll for long runs.

my pex was used for radiant heat under ceramic floor, It was flexible made feeds and returns with less then 12 inch bends. I bought the 1000 feet as not to ever have a fitting in the floor. I ran 4 zones at approx 200 ft each in the main living section and a separate zone to the den. All feeds and returns had their own shut offs which i was able to chock down if I felt a section of floor was too hot. So I bought 2 6 outlet manifold the 6 outlet was for pressure gauge and bleed off hose valve. I love it

Have the 1/2" pex tubing, installation was very good, using the compression connections. Ran loops less than 300'. Some radii are less than 12" semi circle and Upinor 6-pipe manifold with thermal actuators/ w/TACO circulator varispeed pump. Using one pump for 4-zones.

I'm new to using PEX and am using it for hot water heat in my house. It can be like wrestling an alligator, if I can imagine what that must be like. It has a mind of its own. It would be ideal to have a gizmo to unwind it from, but I don't have one. I have bought 2 batches of 300 ft. The first time it came the box was in good shape. The second time, the box was kind of banged up. No complaint on the product, though.
