Great fitting. easily installed, would keep an extra set of O rings around if installation is occuring in cold weather. don't forget to lub all the parts with soap. Since these are really snug and they should easily withstand their intended use. Cost is fair in comparison to other fittings for Pex-AL-Pex tubing. [...]

    When sliding the Pex Al Pex onto the fitting do you need to apply some type a lubricant to the gaskets first to prevent them from being damaged?

      Lubricant is not necessary. Just make sure to use the chamfering tool before making the fitting.

      If you have a MultiPress tool you can use D4711000. If you do not have a MultiPress tool you can use 2 - MP859 and 1 - TB7-16.
