    • 11,900 BTU Ductless Mini-Split Air Conditioner - Indoor Unit

Is this unit the only thing required to install for it to function or does an additional piece/unit also need to be purchased and installed for it to function?

Ductless Mini-Split systems require an indoor component (this part) and an outdoor unit connected to each other with a refrigerant line-set and electrical wiring. Keep in mind that this is a multi-zone unit. It must be used as part of a system with between one and three other indoor units connected to the same outdoor unit.
