Versatile, but high failure rate
By Big Shrub
from Central PA
I have dozens of the ETC series controls in service. The wide range makes them a good choice for walk-in coolers/freezers as well as boilers and other heating applications. I have used both the single stage and two stage in all sorts of creative applications. Be prepared to tolerate a 10% failure rate in a 2 year period. Ranco does not respond to my emails questioning the problem with memory loss and other error codes. If I could find a good substitute I would switch brands.
