Features:

  • Flexible, modular and singular design system
  • Easy-to-assemble construction
  • Precise flow control and balancing
  • Fitting for both PEX and Multilayer Pipe
  • Control for the dominant heating systems like hydronic floor heating, fan coil heating or baseboard heating.

This manifold requires (12) Loop Fitting Assemblies:

PEX Loop Fitting Assemblies Options
PEX-AL-PEX Loop Fitting Assemblies Options
Optional Installation Accessories:

Loop End Cap
Actuators
  • MA-ACT: Thermal Actuator for Rifeng Manifolds
If you want to use your manifold to heat multiple zones, you can purchase return side actuators that work along side thermostats. The actuators act as zone valves to allow you to use one manifold to control the temperature in different rooms independently.
Supply/Return Adapter Options

Note: Bleeder valves that come equipped with Rifeng Manifolds are 1" BSP Thread (manifold inlet) x 3/4" BSP Thread (outlet). If your application requires you to connect to a garden hose, you will need to purchase a Mr. PEX Manifold End Cap w/ Swivel Fill-Drain Valve separately which is 1" BSP x 3/4" Hose Thread

Comments about 6-Loop Stainless Steel Radiant Heat Manifold:

Good quality for the price. Must treat with respect. Uses plastic pieces that I feel can be broken if treated improperly. Good balance of quality and price.

I purchased 2 of these manifolds for a building I own and live in. 1 Unit has a boiler with radiators. I ran each radiator (old large cast iron) on its own zone. The Unit now has even heat that comes on much quicker since it no longer has to heat a 2" cast pipe on each fire. The unit that I live in I ran tubing through floor and kept the rads in bathrooms since they make great towel warmers.

Nice simple manifold. Easy to install, easy to balance without tools or gauges. The only thing I didn't like is that the air vent is not garden hose thread, it seems to be a European thread, so I made a slight mess bleeding the zone. I will definitely buy this item again, so the inconvenience was very minimal, and you should only have to do the air elimination process once anyway. Quit wasting time, stop researching, buy it, move on to the next project.

Using this for my infloor heat in a 40' X 50' area, with 1/2" pex tubing in a concrete floor. Each loop averages around 300'. Seems to be holding the supply temp at around 110-120 degrees. Installed on 1-3-13 and seems to be working OK so far. Did have some problems getting all the air out of the system and thought that it would be more automatic, as far as air release. Could have had more elaborate instructions come with the Manifold.

              Good Value for the money

Comments about 6-Loop Stainless Steel Radiant Heat Manifold:

I have used manifolds from Uponor and Embassy and thought I would give these a chance. They are good, but the many union fittings make it difficult to get a water tight seal. The temperature gages are in the way of being able to get a wrench on one of the union fitting. With rubber O rings and nylon type gaskets, I am concerned about long term durability.

Comments about 6-Loop Stainless Steel Radiant Heat Manifold:

This Rifeng is a great manifold and the price is excellent. It's nice that it comes in a frame ready to attach to the wall. The owners manual / directions are incorrectly worded. I needed two pipe wrenches to put the input and output valve assemblies on so it'll get scratched up a bit b/c of that. Make sure to buy the manifold w/ the pex hardware included and get some manablock caps to seal off the unused valves. Don't forget the thread adaptor also.

                Q:

I ordered this manifold, it came assembled with the flow gauges on top and the "white knobs" on the bottom , opposite of the picture, does it matter which is on top( dumb question maybe, but I read somewhere the return should be on top)? Also should the return be to the gauge side or the white knob side?

                  A:

The supply must be on the red half of the manifold with the flow meters. The return needs to be the section with the white knobs. It does not matter which section is on the top and which is on the bottom. You can re-position these manually.

                Q:

On the picture of the manifolds it has the white "fittings" on the return side(top) I take it this is where the temperature actuators go. I already have temp sensors in my system so can these ports be plugged off or do I NEED the actuators? If they can be plugged off, what is to be used?

                  A:

The actuators are not a necessity. They simply give an easy option for zoning the system. The white caps are used to open and close each loop manually. You would not need to plug them off.
