What is the best temperature to set your thermostat's @
    for cooling and for heating
Also do you need to change the settings when it becomes summer or winter
Do you need to leave fans running all the time

Temperature settings are really based on personal preference. The manual for this thermostat does state that the Energy Star setpoints are now standard on all thermostats to ensure maximum efficiency and comfort. So for the Non-Programmable unit, the Heating temperature recommendation is 70°F (21°C)/Setback Heating 62°F (17°C) and for Cooling it is 78°F (25°C)/Setback Cooling 82°F (27°C).

This particular thermostat also has the Auto Changeover feature, so when that mode is selected the thermostat will energize the heating or cooling system based on the temperatures established for both modes. So you can select this mode if you want the unit to automatically change over based on the temperature conditions, or you can manually switch from heat to cool or vice versa.

The fan will come on automatically when the system is operating, but there is no indication of this on the display. To select continuous fan operation, press the FAN button and the display will show . This is recommended for electronic air cleaners and continuous ventilation requirements.
