For reliability, performance, flexibility and ease of installation and service in one compact control, Robertshaw's 24 volt combination gas valves are the answer. These valves feature a manual valve (gas cock), an automatic pilot safety valve, inlet/outlet screens, pilot outlet, pilot gas filter and pilot adjustment key. Regulated and nonregulated models are available (see ordering chart). Models that have a safety magnet have a "notched or slotted" magnet for applications requiring the use of an ECO (Energy Cut-Off) switch. The automatic pilot safety valve is separate from the gas cock and provides gas shutoff in case of pilot outage. VALVES CAN BE MOUNTED IN ANY
POSITION EXCEPT UPSIDE DOWN. Consult ordering charts for individual control specifications.
The 700 Series 24 Volt Uni-Kits have a pressure regulator installed that is set for natural gas (3.5" W.C.) To convert to L.P. gas, a regulator cover plate is included. Simply remove pressure regulator and install the regulator cover plate.

Q:11/22/15: Hello, I have a CARRIER Natural Gas Furnace, Model 58GC100-1A, Ser.#: K804927 - Built in 1968, placed in service in 1974. Input is 100,000 BTU/Hr. - 120 volt/<12 volt DC. The Gas Valve has frozen and I need to replace it. Owner's Manual states they were equipped with an ESSEX (Alfa Tafoo) TF 555 (used for the 58GC furnaces. A Robertshaw Unitrol 7000 was used for the 58GA models. My question is: Will this Robertshaw 1/2" x 1/2" Combo Gas Valve replace the Essex TF 555 valve? If not, do you carry the exact TF555 replacement valve? Thank You.
A:SKU: V800C1052 would work as a functional replacement but due to the age of the furnace we are unable to attain a direct cross for that part. http://www.supplyhouse.com/Honeywell-V800C1052-Step-Opening-Pilot-Gas-Valve-24-Vac-13657000-p
