Comments about LX-120CB, 92,000 BTU Output Combi Condensing Boiler (Nat Gas):

I am a homeowner and chose this product to replace my old oil fired combi unit. The installation was smooth and fairly easy, but the unit has been disappointing. The heat for the home has been very good, with the boiler modulating down to 30% to provide continuous heat for my home. Unfortunately, the hot water has not been as good. The boiler measures heat on the boiler side of the domestic hot water heat exchanger, leading to large swings in the domestic hot water temperature. This has led to uncomfortable showers and made me install a mixing valve to temper the 180F output (recommended by the manufacturer, but should not be necessary if the boiler was able to output constant temp hot water).

Bottom line, if I were to do it again, I would go with an indirect water heater.
