            The sensor is an add on. I think the thermostat I bought came with the
            sensor.

            The sensor is not included with the spools if memory serves me.I think it is included with the thermostat or available to order seperately. I found the spools to work so much easier and better than the mats. You have complete control without the mats.

            No, you probably have to buy the strap and tape separately. I hot glued
            mine down and it worked great.
