Taco ZVC EXP Control

PowerPort Slot on any EXP
24 VAC (Powered by EXP Control)
The Taco Post Purge Plug-In Card is a solid state control. Once the priority zone is
satisfied, it maintains power to the circulator and/or the zone valve attached to the
priority zone - but doesn't fire the boiler. The circulator purges excess heat into the
priority zone, minimizing stand-by loss during warm weather months and optimizing
boiler operation when used with a boiler reset control. Power can be maintained to
the priority zone from twenty seconds to seven minutes by means of an adjustable
potentiometer. An extra set of dry contacts is provided on the card to emulate the
aquastat closure. This allows use of the Taco PC600 with boilers that have an
integrated reset control.
