Absolutely wonderful

Comments about T-D2-IN Takagi Tankless Indoor Water Heater (Natural Gas):

I installed this unit about a year ago and love it. There are only two of us in the house so we don't use much hot water -- but we don't have to keep a tank of water heated also. We save about 2/3 on gas now than when we used a tank. The remote is great for upping the temp when doing laundry.

2 set of takagi Great product

Comments about T-D2-IN Takagi Tankless Indoor Water Heater (Natural Gas):

This is my second set of takagis. The first ones got wiped out in SANDY. These are great products. Saved me 40% first year in NG. (teenager with long showers.
This product is more sensisity to pressure drops which is a good thing. If you go from a 1 inch line to 1/2 the system needs to see this pressure drop and not stop heating. These units heat 5 showers 1 with 10 head (car wash 10 gal min) with no problems.

T-D2 Takagi tankless water is more than big enough for your needs. Direct
vent will have to be used not the PVC pipe

I have 3 showers, washing machine, dishwasher and a 2 person jacuzzi tub. I have never run out of hot water with this unit. I don't think u can use PVC venting for this unit. It requires double wall stainless pipe, at least that's what I was told and used.

Can it be used for radiant heat

      A:

This heater can be used for radiant heating, but make sure to use primary/secondary piping. We would also recommend a heat exchanger is you plan to use the same heater for radiant heating and domestic water heating.

Yes, as long as it is for radiant only, can't mix radiant (dirty water) with drinking or washing water.
