Perfect Replacement Part

Comments about Mixing Control Variable Speed:

My home uses the Tekmar 356 as a mixing control for the hydronic floor heating system. It was present when I moved into my home which was built about 11 years ago.

A few weeks ago, as the weather started to become cold again, I noticed that the unit had burned out.

I ordered a replacement from PexSupply.com, and installed it in about 20 minutes. Now my floor heat is working perfectly again.

Comments about Mixing Control Variable Speed:

I'm using this in my house to control the temp to my zone circulators. It works as advertised. Easy set up if you have done heat load calcs. Able to input all design parameters and the reset curve works perfectly. Menus are easy to navigate. If it has "a mind of it's own" it probably wasn't wired correctly. Lost a star due to price

    Q:

how do i get it to put out more heat,i can't get the heat over 84 far.going away from the heat exchanger. the temp. coming from the boiler into the heat exchanger is 140 far.

      A:

This control has the option of using a boiler sensor. If the boiler sensor is on the boiler return and the boiler return temperature measured by the sensor is at or below the boiler min setting then the injection is ramped down to allow the boiler loop to heat back up, thus providing boiler return protection to the boiler.

my old control is a tekmar 350 mixing control cannot find it in you lists is it obsolete and does the 356 replace it or could you give me the replacement control number

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

If you are doing variable speed mixing with a circulator, you need the 356 control. If you are using a modulating mixing valve, you need the 360 control.
