Very sensitive

Comments about Totaline Smart Non-Programmable 2H/2C Thermostat:

This thermostat controls a Carrie heat pump. I find that it is far too sensitive (.7 degrees) for the average home. The hyper sensitivity causes the heat pump to run longer than it needs to and causes higher electric bills. The sensitivity is NOT user programmable.

If you set it at 73 degrees it runs until it is 73.7 degrees and I was told it was for humidity control. I need one to turn off at 70 and save electricity, not to run 15 minutes past the set point.

It does control the heat pump and that is good. It needs to be improved to allow users to control what they need to control
