      No, it is a coupling with 1/2" female thread on one end, and 1/8" thread on the other end.

      A:

      This is a reducing coupling so the two numbers are the two pipe sizes. One
      side of the coupling has a standard 1/8" female threaded connection (1/8"
      NPS/IPS/FIP) that will accept a standard steam radiator air vent, among
      other things. The other side’s connection is 1/2" female. The coupling’s
      length is 1 1/4".
