Which direction do I turn the screw to lesson the pressure coming thru the main water line on my presure reducing valve with by-pass?

Turn the screw counter clockwise to lower downstream pressure and clockwise to increase.

        • Q:

Is the only difference between the U5B-Z3 and the 25AUB-Z3 models the thermal bypass capability of the U5B as the U5B is much more expensive?

I already have a thermal expansion tank in place so the 25AUB-Z3 seems like all I need.

The specs are the same for both models, however the U5B performs better at low flow rates because it has a larger orifice. This makes it a good choice for domestic use.

it states that they come factory set at 50 psi, but I need it set at 25 psi. Is there a charge for that to be done?
