Comments about Watts 150HA, 3/4" Thread for 1/2" Water Hammer Arrestor:

I bought the 150HA threaded adapter to hook the Watts 150A Water Hammer Arrester to my washing machine/inlet valves. The threaded adapters need to be a bit longer so the Arrestor isn't bumping into the wall box for the washing machine inlets. Also, be sure to tighten the female end of the hose coupling on the 150HA adapter - these were loose on both of mine and leaked. I had to uninstall, teflon tape and find a faucet wrench (adapter has a hex inside for tightening) - a large hex wrench could work too.

Perfect to retro fit for washer hose or water hose. Easy to use. [...] Still I would not hesitate to buy again. The metal is well machined and is very good quality.

I used 1 of these with each of the 2 Watts #269503 Water Hammer Arrrestors that I installed to cure the "bang" that I heard when I ran my new washing machine. Easy to install.

      A:

The part you are looking for is 0269503 which is the complete Water Hammer Arrestor that includes this fitting. It will help reduce the banging in the pipe. This part you are looking at is just the connector to the arrestor, not the complete assembly.
