  • CGA-6 - 127,000 BTU Output Boiler, Standing Pilot (Nat Gas)

    I live in Connecticut. my home is about 2080SF.
    I have 3 zones (a.b.c.) broken down as follows;
    a. = moderate insulation 1250sf (mix of baseboard and convectors) 55feet of fins
    b. = well insulated 400sf all baseboard 30 feet of fins
    c. = well insulated 410sf all baseboard 46 feet of fins
    I believe this boiler will more than accommodate my heating needs however my question is this. Will this boiler adequately handle my heating needs as well as adding a 4th zone for a 41 Gal boiler-mate for hot water? thanks

      This boiler should have no problem meeting the heating load of your house. You actually do not need to factor in additional BTUs for an indirect water heater, since the heating system and indirect tank will never operate simultaneously.

    Approximately how much square foot this unit can heat?

      Every home has a unique BTU requirement based on location and insulation quality. This boiler should be able to handle a 3,000 square-foot home with standard insulation in the northeastern U.S., but we always recommend that you perform a heat loss calculation to get a precise figure for your home.
