I needed this valve to replace one that was worn out. This was an exact replacement by original manufacturer, so it was an easy install. Best of all, the price was much, much lower than I could find anywhere else, and response was fast. I have bought other things from PEX Supply, and will continue to be a customer.

Take caution the terminals are all numbered the same, but they are in different positions which could cause miswiring if you are moving the wires from the old to the new. You have to move the wire from terminal #3 to terminal #3, not terminal location to terminal location.

The box leaks and that's why I was replacing the valve in the first place, returning the valve and will try another, at least the customer service and shipping was easy and they took great care of me,

Worked and installs easy

Comments about 3/4" Sweat Zone Valve (Three Wire):

Install was rather easy, and more time to drain down the heating system than to install. Swap out the old and put in the new. Did not have to replace the brass housing, just cleaned surface and put the new valve in. So far works well.

Your service is impeccable. Thank you!

Comments about 3/4" Sweat Zone Valve (Three Wire):

My boiler stopped working during the initial cold front experienced this season. As a result, I searched for replacement parts at the recommendation of my plumber. I needed to communicate with your company due to my inexperience and your employees were extremely prompt and attentive to my needs. They walked me through the issue and located the parts needed and had them shipped immediately. Needless to say, that allowed my boiler to be repaired within a couple of days and my family was comfortable and warm. Thank you!

    Q:

Can I mount this valve in the vertical position?

      A:

Yes, you may mount this valve vertically. I have some mounted in that manner for 40 years.

      A:

Per the installation manual, this zone valve can be mounted in any position except upside down. Taken to mean that you don't want the actual mechanism below the water line. Hope this helps.

Yes, the valve can be installed in the vertical position.  All of my valves which are the same, are installed in the vertical position.  Richvs C***.****

    Q:

Where can I get just the valve body? My controll is working ok but the unit is leaking.
Asked on 3/25/2012 by stan from Middlebury, IN

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

The valve body by itself is part F94-0775. It has been discontinued by the manufacturer and would only be available through dealers that have remaining stock.

  • 3/4" Sweat Zone Valve (Three Wire)

    Q:

I have installed a new ¾” white Rodgers valve because I had one that would not shut down. The new valve will not shut down either. Is it defective or is it a valve upstream in the circuit. I have five zone valves.

It appears that you have a wiring issue. We recommend that you check your wiring to make sure all connections are correct and there are no shorts in the wiring.

  • 3/4" Sweat Zone Valve (Three Wire)

    Q:

What's included with the purchase of this item? Is it just the motor assembly or is the valve assembly included?
    Asked on 10/19/2011 by Anonymous

    2 answers

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

It includes the motor assembly, as well as the brass valve body.

Answered on 10/19/2011 by PexSupply Staff from NY
    • VERIFIED BUYER

      A:

I have purchased and installed two of these.
It is the complete valve including the valve body, just like in the picture. The operator assembly is removable from the body by releasing a catch and twisting about an 1/8 turn. This allows the operator and the internal valve stem to be removed. There are also two screws that can be removed to change just the electrical section if you don't want to get into the water side.
