Chatters if low voltage is applied

Comments about Fan Relay, Type 184, 24 VAC Coil, 50/60 Hz, SPNO/SPNC. Coil Data: 77 Ohms DC Resistance, 125 mA:

I wanted to use this to control some inline duct fans. The problem I have is that I need to put a Make on Delay relay in front of the coil. When 24v is applied to the delay relay it leaks a little voltage(seems they all do) to the load(this coil)and that small voltage leak makes this coil chatter until the delay is met. Once the full 24v is across the coil it latches solid and the chatter goes away.

Any device used in a 24 vac control circuit that
don't have a 24 vac coil to energize it.
In HVAC blower, fans and air flow switches.
